Condoms
- ? How do you use lubricants and condoms together?
Non-vaginal use or low levels of vaginal moisture jeopardise the safety of condoms. In order to remedy a lack of slide, e.g. with insufficient vaginal dryness or anal intercourse, additional condom-compatible Ritex lubricants such as Ritex GEL+, Ritex HYDRO, Ritex BIO and Ritex LONGTIME, should be used in sufficient quantities on the outer side of the condom.
Never use additional lubricants directly on the penis or the inside of the condom, as this increases the risk of the condom slipping or tearing. Never use lubricants containing oil or grease (e.g. Vaseline, baby oil, body lotion). Only use those which are recommended by the manufacturer for use with latex condoms.
- ? How do you use condoms and medicine together?
When using medicines such as suppositories, ointments, creams, etc. on the vagina or penis, ask your doctor or pharmacist if these may affect the safety of the condom.
- ? What do you do if intolerances occur?
If you are worried about an accidental pregnancy or an infection, or if intolerances occur while the condom is being used, ask your doctor or your pharmacist.
- ? What do you do if you are allergic to latex?
If you experience any intolerances while using the condom, ask your doctor. Ritex condoms are made of natural rubber latex and must not be used by people allergic to latex.
- ? How do I find the right condom?
Are you not sure which condom is the right one? Then take some measurements. To do so, you can either cut out the RITEX CONDOMETER or just use a tape measure, wrap it carefully around the erect penis and read the circumference.
- Up to 11 cm, the slim fit is optimal
- From upwards 11 cm standard sizes are the right choice
- From upwards 13 cm circumference Ritex XXL condoms fit best
Condoms are very elastic. They adapt well to the shape of the penis and should fit snugly. If you use a condom that is too large, the risk of it slipping or tearing is higher.
- ? How do you store condoms?
Condoms should only be kept in their original sealed wrappers. Please store your condoms at room temperature. Temporary storage (no more than a few days) at temperatures of up to 50°C is possible, but should be avoided if circumstances permit. Storing condoms in the refrigerator is also possible, but does generally not result in any benefit.
- ? When do condoms expire?
The expiry date is printed both on the outside of the bottom flap of the packaging, as well as on each individual sealed wrapper. Please check it before use.
- ? What should I do with a used condom?
Dispose of used condoms along with your household waste. Please do not throw condoms down the toilet as this may adversely affect the efficiency of sewage treatment plants. Moreover, it is likely that the condoms will not flush.
- ? How do I use a condom correctly?
We have a step by step guide on this topic.
- ? Why is a serrated container edge so easy?
When it comes down to it, it should be quick and easy. Nobody wants to fiddle about with the condom for ages. Ritex sealed wrappers are especially easy to open. The practical serrated edge and the special foil material allow you to remove the condoms safely, conveniently and easily. No tools are required to open it.
Under no circumstances should you use scissors, knives or anything sharp to open the wrapper, as this increases the risk of damaging the condom! You should also be careful with piercings, jewellery and sharp fingernails.- ? Do Ritex condoms contain spermicides
Our products focus on skin compatibility and the highest quality standards. For these reasons, we deliberately avoid any spermicides to make your sex as natural as possible.
