All products that leave our company should, when used correctly, fulfil their medical purpose safely and at the same time offer the best possible compatibility for users. Every employee at Ritex has the right and the duty to report immediately any circumstances which, at any stage of the product development, are or could be contrary to the fulfilment of the required quality standards and to insist on an examination of the facts and, if necessary, elimination of the adverse circumstances.

In order to fulfil the qualitative responsibility, the company must be oriented towards the long term, which results in the necessity of the economic success of the company. All investments and expenditures should be examined to see whether they conflict with the goal of the company's long-term existence. In case of doubt, the decision should be chosen which has the lowest risk of endangering the existence of the company.

All resources used at Ritex should be used as efficiently and ecologically as possible. The avoidance of waste is the top priority. All resources used should be checked to see whether an ecologically more favourable variant exists. The ecologically more favourable variant should be chosen regularly, provided that this decision does not contradict the first or second guideline.

Ritex complies with all labour law conditions applicable in Germany and also endeavours to provide all employees with a pleasant workplace, fair remuneration and flexible working hours. Ritex also supports regional and supra-regional projects that promote general education, particularly with regard to sexual education and infection prophylaxis, or social coexistence in general.

Are you not sure which condom is the right one? Then take some measurements. To do so, you can either cut out the RITEX Condometer or just use a tape measure, wrap it carefully around the erect penis and read the circumference.

Condoms are very elastic. They adapt well to the shape of the penis and should fit snugly. If you use a condom that is too large, the risk of it slipping or tearing is higher.

Condoms should only be kept in their original sealed wrappers. Please store your condoms at room temperature. Temporary storage (no more than a few days) at temperatures of up to 50°C is possible, but should be avoided if circumstances permit. Storing condoms in the refrigerator is also possible, but does generally not result in any benefit.

The expiry date is printed both on the outside of the bottom flap of the packaging, as well as on each individual sealed wrapper. Please check it before use.

Dispose of used condoms along with your household waste. Please do not throw condoms down the toilet as this may adversely affect the efficiency of sewage treatment plants. Moreover, it is likely that the condoms will not flush.

If you experience any intolerances while using the condom, ask your doctor. Ritex condoms are made of natural rubber latex and must not be used by people allergic to latex.

If you are worried about an accidental pregnancy or an infection, or if intolerances occur while the condom is being used, ask your doctor or your pharmacist.  

When using medicines such as suppositories, ointments, creams, etc. on the vagina or penis, ask your doctor or pharmacist if these may affect the safety of the condom.

Our products focus on skin compatibility and the highest quality standards. For these reasons, we deliberately avoid any spermicides to make your sex as natural as possible.

Lubricants bring more variety as well as more safety into your love life because they immediately provide the necessary moisture and thus prevent unpleasant friction or even minor injuries to the skin.
They can be used as a "jump-start" when things aren't going so well, as a support in areas of the body that don't have their own lubrication (e.g. anal intercourse), or as a general massaging agent on the skin.

Ritex lubricants are specially designed for use in the intimite area. They can be applied internally or externally, e.g. on the penis using the hand. The lubricants can be used as often as you like.

Non-vaginal use or low levels of vaginal moisture jeopardise the safety of condoms. In order to remedy a lack of slide, e.g. with insufficient vaginal dryness or anal intercourse, additional condom-compatible Ritex lubricants such as Ritex GEL+, Ritex HYDRO, Ritex BIO and Ritex LONGTIME, should be used in sufficient quantities on the outer side of the condom.

Never use additional lubricants directly on the penis or the inside of the condom, as this increases the risk of the condom slipping or tearing. Never use lubricants containing oil or grease (e.g. Vaseline, baby oil, body lotion). Only use those which are recommended by the manufacturer for use with latex condoms.

Lubricants that offer long-lasting lubrication are particularly suitable for anal sex. Silicone-based lubricants with their extra-long lubrication are made for especially long pleasure. The intensive lubricant film can also provide the neccessary smoothness during anal intercourse. Ritex LONGTIME, for example, can also be used with condoms.

Ritex lubricants do not have to be specially removed from the body. After sexual intercourse, most of the lubricants are excreted together with the natural body fluids. The remaining amounts are harmless and are broken down or excreted in the body within a short time.

Ritex lubricant is not a form of contraception. Water-based lubricants can, however, lower sperm motility (because of their pH value). If you are trying to conceive, we recommend the specially developed Ritex Kinderwunsch Conception Lubricant.

Lubricants should be dermatologically and gynaecologically tested before being put on the market. Ritex lubricants only contain selected raw materials of the highest quality and are manufactured in Germany using the latest technology. They are subject to periodic strict quality controls.

Water-based gels are very popular because they can be used in a number of ways. They are easy to clean and wash out and can generally be used very easily with both condoms and toys.
Silicone oil-based lubricants have the advantage that they lubricate for longer than water-based gels and do not get absorbed into the skin in parts of the body that do not have their own moisture (such as outside the vagina). They should not, however, be used alongside silicone sex toys, as they may damage or completely dissolve the silicone coating on the sex toy.

Water-based lubricants such as Ritex BIO, HYDRO SENSITIV and Gel+ are generally compatible with most sex toys (please read the instructions for use for the sex toy).

Ritex LONGTIME is a silicone-based lubricant and should not be used in combination with silicone toys. Otherwise, the surface of the sex toy (e.g. dildos and vibrators) could become rough or discoloured. A good alternative in this case are water-based gels. Use with toys made of other materials and with latex condoms is typically possible without any problems (please read the instructions for use for the toy).

The expiry date is printed both on the outside of the bottom of the packaging, as well as on the crimp of the tube. Please check it before use. If the gel has already expired, it must be discarded as proper stability against long germ growth is no longer guaranteed. Opened lubricants must be used within the indicated period for the same reason.
